July 25th Luncheon at the Bold Knight

On July 25th a luncheon was held at the Bold Knight Restaurant, mainly to reconnect with the classmates who, for one reason or another, couldn't make it to the 60th reunion in October of 1914.

David and Marlene Rhoads, Doreen Medeiros Aimonetti, Ann Kuzinich Scolari, Jan Valenti and Gene Gimelli

Doreen had to cancel a week before the 60th and fly to Hawaii to be with her ailing father-in-law. It was good to see her again. Jan and Gene had a cruise scheduled and couldn't get out of it.

Ron and Marilyn Lambdin Rios, Jan Massey Spano and James, Mervin and Joyce Roberts

Carol and Ron Portal, Andris Ramans, Marvin Horton, Jean Telford Nix and Bill

Marvin enjoys his work and refuses to retire, but he still makes it to all our functions. Bill is officially 'retired' but still can't get away from Stanford. Ron, like all of us, has some health problems but he and Carol still make it to every one of our gatherings.

Frank and Mary Tavolacci behind Norma Achelpohl Morrell, Adreen Petroni D'Amico and Tom

Norma, traveling from Santa Rosa, never misses a Class of '54 function.

Carlos and Jane Arevalo, Carolyn and Leo Mauro, Art Pasquinelli

Happily, Leo is looking well after the heart operation which caused him to miss the 60th.

Angie Brutto Geissman, Bill Kogura, Lorraine Barbaria Azevedo and Ray McCormick

A sudden mishap caused Lorraine to miss the 60th, but she's fine now. Ray has a stable of classic cars, and he and Lorraine can be found at a car show almost every weekend.

Andris and Marilyn, Bill and Ron

Marilyn looks great but something's missing without a bulldog beside her.

Gene and Marvin, Carol and Jean, Ron and Bill

Jan and Jim Spano, part of the Santa Cruz contingent, here with Mervin and Joyce Roberts.

The Spano's are soon off on their annual holiday, this year to Italy, to a private villa, no less.

A special award should have gone to Andris, who had just returned from a European vacation the day before and still had jetlag but couldn't miss our luncheon.  With Ron, Marilyn, Bill, Ron and Jean

Angie Brutto with her daughter Gigi.

Marlene, Ann, Jan and Doreen

Neither Jan nor Ann were able to make it to the 60th. so it was good to see them again.

Bill, Lorraine and Marlene

Marlene and David came all the way from Cameron Park (east of Sacramento), and Ann drove from Discovery Bay (near Stockton) to visit with Doreen.

Joyce and Mervin, Ron

Norman, Adreen, Jan, Tom

Tom is also a car 'nut', so he and Adreen had a lot to talk about with Lorraine and Ray.
Mary and Frank

Ron, Jean, Marvin and Gene
