RON PORTAL

Ron battled Parkinson's for many years and passed away on May 6. Several months before the planned reunion of May 2, he said he'd do his best to make it.  This damned virus caused our cancellation - and so there are many friends we will never get to see again.

    I don't know of anyone that did not like Ron, or wife Carol, for that matter. He loved fly fishing, and although I am not of that ilk, I admired the way that he played out fishing line for long casts. I join all those others that will miss him.
